This family contacted us with an interest in adopting Sunny. We arranged for them to meet all of the dogs at a play session and they did so well that they returned for a CGC/Therapy Dog training session at KCA. The boys did beautifully with Sunny, enthusiastically providing the "treat" portion of "click and treat." They also helped in trying to distract the other dogs during a couple of exercises. The evening was quite a success so they agreed to host Sunny.

Kyler took Sunny and his supplies to meet the family the next morning. Sunny did beautifully right from the start. Sunny and the family learned about each other for about an hour before Kyler left.

Although Sunny did jump into bed with the parents he quickly got the message that his place was on the floor. He slept through the night except for one outing when the baby was changed.

During Kyler's visit the next evening the family described Sunny as being very gentle and forgiving with the children and doing well running with the father. They decide that they'd prefer a shorter dog who would not be able to reach tables and counters so easily but still kept Sunny another night.
