funding

how our program is funded

From its inception in 2007 our program has been funded by individual donations through The Jasper Foundation. In 2008 we plan to have some events that are informational and entertaining which also happen to provide some funds for the program. We are also seeking help from businesses who can benefit from promoting our program.

Self-sufficiency is the long-term goal. For dogs who are adopted we will try to charge a fee that covers the substantial expense of handling the dog.

In 2007 the Jasper Foundation paid $10,500 to Blair Animal Clinic and Klondike Kennels for approximately six months of services to the rescue dogs.
