It's difficult to set prices on dogs, especially after we've poured our energy into helping them work toward their full potential and bonded with them personally. However this program requires funding to help more dogs so we have established guidelines when providing a dog for adoption.

We have attempted to recover most of our typical initial expenses at the "basic" level and have set this price to be the same as that of other rescue organizations. The increase in price for dogs at the "intermediate" and "advanced" levels reflects a small portion of the value of time invested by those who have worked with the dogs and covers some of the expenses associated with training and maintaining the dog for a longer period.

Although these prices are very low compared to that of even poorly-bred puppies and are a small fraction of the price of a typical working dog, we realize that they may be too high for some families. We're always interested in finding exceptional homes for our dogs so please don't hesitate to contact us if you have a special situation.  We can also help you watch for special dogs available from shelters at a lower price.
