Misty/Maddie Bea
Misty was surrendered by her owner to the Jasper County Animal Shelter. She was part of a group of dogs that reportedly "attacked" (but did not injure) a small tied-out dog and she was said to chase children so she was unlikely to be placed through the shelter. When she came to us she did have a habit of nipping at dogs as she chased them but otherwise was a great dog. She became "Maddie Bea" and is part of the family of one of our volunteers. She has been great therapy for their other GSD, Susha, and both are now Delta Society Pet Partners.
2008-01-20: Maddie and Waynetta passed their Delta Society Pet Partners evaluation.
