LUM camp morning
Morgan and Kyler greet Lafayette Urban Ministries campers

Morgan and I arrived at the Hanging Rock camp around 9:30 this morning. Three buses of children appeared after 10:00 in the midst of rain. Morgan and I boarded the buses while they waited for instructions. All of the kids were sweet to Morgan and I was surprised that they all seemed interested in him - no fear at all. As the kids unloaded and found their cabins Morgan and I "floated" to try to help the stragglers.
Morgan did such a great job that I pulled him out of service for awhile. We're relaxing in the car now, watching it rain. It looks like swimming will be canceled today so we'll meet the campers in the recreation building soon.
